MEET THE ROUGHSTOCK

Our roughstock program began in 2014 with the purchase of Libby, a full-blooded Brahman cow, and Bazooka Joe, an ABBI-registered bull. Since then, we’ve had the privilege of raising and hauling several standout bucking bulls, including Terror, Ghost Town, and Skitzo. Both Ghost Town and Skitzo competed for over seven years and proved themselves time and again in the arena. Terror earned top honors as the 2019 American Roughstock Association Bull of the Year and Bull of the Finals, and held the #1 spot in the ARA rankings two years after his passing—a true legacy.

 

That legacy lives on today with The Grey, one of the rankest bulls on the East Coast. With over 150 outs and no qualified rides to date, he’s taken down some of the best riders in the region—and the list keeps growing. Right behind him is Moo Nights, a powerful contender with a few covered rides but still known for testing even the most seasoned cowboys. One of our up-and-comers, Mouse Trap, is just starting to make a name for himself and is showing serious promise in the pen.

On the horse side, our herd is packed with athletes who dominate in both ranch bronc and saddle bronc events. Hot Tamale leads the charge as our fiery, unpredictable top saddle bronc horse—she’s been named Horse of the Year twice. In ranch bronc, Bubbles and Groot have each earned Horse of the Year titles, and Buttercup has been honored as Horse of the Finals on two occasions.
